Layout
The layout of a plant is one of the most critical phases of the entire design, the arrangement of the components is the basis on which the development of the entire project rests, in this phase the final appearance of the plant is determined. A well-designed layout must achieve the following results:
Piping and fixings
Once the final layout has been approved, the next phase is the piping design, that is, the distribution network of the fluids needed to carry out the chemical and physical processes. In accordance with the project specifications (P&ID, Piping Class, Piping Specifications), the path of the pipes inside the plant is defined in detail, and in this case too, maximum attention must be paid to accessibility and optimization of spaces.
At the same time, supports and fixings are designed; these elements allow the pipes to remain in position, withstanding mechanical stresses and compensating for any thermal expansion.
